XA-03-D part of IDEALS cross road platform. This platform is designed to support the entire
spectrum from road plus to rough gravel riding. After our XA-01-D frameset we decided to
extend the platform to a more budget orientated version. For the road orientated riders, we
keep the overall road fit, so it’s perfect for roadies venturing out into offroading. There is
many ways to set up depending on componentry and tires, making it an ultimate speed
machine for the more MTB orientated between us.
The platform is designed around 650B fat tires. This increases riding
comfort and offroadablity, while maintaining the outer tire diameter.
Combined with the geometry specific designed fork and cleverly
designed YOKE, we can maintain a standard road bike fit and chainstay
length(410mm). The bigger rake fork (53mm) makes the riding more
stable when the going gets though. Because the geometry is designed
around this special spec fork only FK-01-D is compatible with this
aluminum frameset.

Tires
Up to 700x35c tires can also be used. 650Bx2.0” for MTB (2.1“
depending on tire brand) is the maximum clearance. We like fitting
650bx47c for roadplus and 650Bx2.0” for mountain style gravel.
